July 25 and 26: Friday 5-8 and Saturday 1-5 p.m.—Dale vs. Allison Tasting—Confused about what the terms “new world” and “old world” are in terms of winemaking? Come on over to The Tasting Bar and taste the difference between the two. Dale and Allison have very different wine palates and invite you to taste with them and find out which prefers new world to old world style wines. Free Tasting. No registration necessary.

August 7: Thursday: 7 p.m.—How to Taste Wine Like a Pro-- If you’ve ever wondered what wine terms such as tannins, oaky, hint of cassis, medium body, malolactic fermentation, etc. mean, then this is the class for you. Dale and Allison will take you through a basic introduction to the “art” of tasting wine. Beginners, as well as seasoned wine lovers, are welcome. Click Here to Register

August 12: Tuesday: 7 p.m.—Varietal Education—Sauvignon Blanc— Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown all over the world but the wines produced from them do not all taste alike. New Zealand SBs are very different from California SBs and they’re very different from those produced in France or South Africa. Join us to learn about and taste wines from several different regions renown for producing delightful Sauvignon Blancs. Class size is limited to 35 persons. Click Here to Register.

August 15 & 16: Friday 5-8 and Saturday 1-5 p.m.—Dog Days of Summer Tasting—The days may be hot but these four tasting bar wines are HOTTER. Find out what we’re talking about when you taste these four wine. Wines to Free tasting. No registration necessary.

August 20: Wednesday: 7-8 p.m.— Locally-Grown Food Pairing Class Do you love the Regional Market? Are you “shopping local” and buying more produce, cheeses and meats from local shops and markets? Join Erin Stepowany and Dale and Allison for an evening of pairing wine with wonderful locally grown and produced foods. Class size will be limited to 35 participants; so, please register early. August 22 & 23: Friday 5-8 and Saturday 1-5 p.m.—Savvy Staff Summer Favorites—Part Two—Our staff has so many favorites that we had to add a second tasting. Taste four wines that Savvy staffers are enjoying this summer. Free tasting. No registration necessary.

August 29 & 30: Friday 5-8 and Saturday 1-5 p.m.—Last Blast of Summer Tasting—Where did it go? Celebrate the end of summer with us at The Tasting Bar. Free tasting. No registration necessary.
