On Saturday Daniel Salamone of Martin Scott Wines is guest pourer for Allison’s Birthday Bash Pizza Party Tasting. No one loves a party more than Dale and Allison and, since November 2 is her birthday, we’re going to celebrate with a pizza party and wine tasting and give a nod of thanks to her dad, Albert “Shuffles” Palermo, the original “Pizza Man” of Camillus. And what pairs best with pizza…Italian wine, of course:

November 1: Saturday: 1-5 p.m.—Happy Birthday Allison Tasting!—It’s that time of year again, Allison’s birthday bash that means two things—Daniel Salamone at The Tasting Bar pouring wines from Martin Scott Wines and Shuffle’s-style pizza to pair with them. You know how much we love a party at The Savvy Wine Cellar and we can’t wait for you to join us. But you’d better get here early before the pizza is all gone. November 6: Thursday: 7 p.m.—Perfect Pasta Pairing Class—Back by popular demand, join us for a fun-filled evening of perfect pasta paired perfectly with wines to match. Registration is required and is limited to 35 persons. Click here to register.

November 12: Wednesday: 7 p.m.—Talking Turkey about Thanksgiving…Leftovers Class—What to do with all those Thanksgiving Day leftovers? Tired of eating turkey sandwiches and reheated mashed potatoes for five days in a row? Then, come to this class and we’ll help you get a little creative with leftover turkey, yams and more. November 14 & 15: Friday: 5-8; Saturday: 1-5 p.m.—W.O.W. Tasting—We love Washington State wines and, judging from how many bottles from this region fly out the door every week, many Savvy fans do, as well. The featured selections at these tastings will have you shouting: “Wow, these wines are tasty!” Join us for our W.O.W. (Wines of Washington) Tasting. We’re sure, after you taste them, you’ll become a big fan, too. Free tasting. No registration necessary.
November 16: Sunday: 6 p.m.—Fall Wine and Cheese Pairing Class—Second Seating—Our first class on October 22 filled up so quickly we had to schedule a second. If you got closed out last time, you’d better register today! Same cheeses and wines as our first class. Click here to register.
November 22: Saturday: 1-6 p.m.—Fall Festival of Wines Special Tasting Event—Just in time for Thanksgiving, it’s The Savvy Wine Cellar’s spectacular fall tasting event. FIVE VENDORS each pouring FOUR SELECTIONS each with tasting notes and food pairing suggestions; wine-paired appetizers; random prize drawing. Let us take the worry out of what wines to serve for Thanksgiving. Join us and get your holiday season off to a great start. Fall just got better!
November 28: Friday: 4-7 p.m. Special “Black Friday” Tasting Event After a day of Thanksgiving feasting and a hard-core day of early holiday shopping, you’re going to need a little “pick-me-up.” And your friends at The Savvy Wine Cellar have the perfect tonic to refresh your spirit. Join us the afternoon of Friday, November 25, from 4-7 for our first ever “Black Friday” Tasting of Quinta do Nova Black Port specially paired with French chocolates. We can’t think of a better recovery method from the stress of holiday entertaining and Black Friday shopping. Treat yourself (and a friend or two) to delicious Port and chocolate. No registration is necessary for this Savvy Event.
November 29: Saturday: 1-5 p.m.—Thanksgiving’s Over…Time to Restock Tasting—The holiday is over and the family and friends are just a mere memory. If your loved ones drank up all of your wine and you need to restock, this tasting is for you. Free tasting. No registration is necessary.
